Naseej Foundation - Resources for Community Youth Development Development in the Arab World
Naseej Foundation is not-for-profit and not partisan International Foundation registered under the Belgium Laws in early 2010 that has been working in the Arab Region since 2005.
In Arabic, “Naseej”means “the action of weaving”. Our name “Naseej” was chosen to reflect our spirit, which aims to reinforce, strengthen and interweave collective efforts in order to establish a strong and comprehensive community youth development and social justice network/s that positively influences individuals, groups and relationships within societies. Our name further, reflects on the fabric of the Arab societies which are rich in history and present, multi-cultural, multi colored, not only connected but also intertwined and have great potentials.

- Enhance work quality and impact of youth and community development entities (organizations, groups, networks, etc.)
- Increase and promote youth meaningful and qualitative engagement and productivity at the social, political and economic levels
- Mainstream youth and community issues and concerns in development policies and agendas
- Develop and maintain Naseej as a world class youth & community development foundation
Naseej Foundation primarily supports both registered entities and informal youth groups who fit certain criteria. Our work is focussed in the Middle East, North Africa and the Gulf countries, through serving both Arab and non-Arab citizen’s while being eager to reach out to others from the region residing in other parts of the world.
