AFF Members’ Platform

The Arab Foundations Forum (AFF) held a two day event for its members entitled: “AFF Members’ Platform”. 

The event was held on December 8 -9, 2011 at the Kempinski Hotel, Dead Sea, Jordan and provided members with a networking opportunity to get acquainted with each other’s work and share best practices, experiences and insights  on various topics among fellow foundations working in the Philanthropic field.  “This event is in line with one of AFF’s key objectives of fostering dialogue, networking, learning and collaboration among its members”, noted Dr. Marwan Awartani, AFF Chairman. The platform was attended by 24 AFF members from the Arab Region representing foundations from Jordan and the region working in different sectors in philanthropy.  The meeting gave members the chance to converse on prevalent topics such as Effective Grant making, Fundraising Tools, and Human Rights as well as how to move forward in the sector given the current situation in the region.
